Take Action with the League of Women Voters to Defend Democracy

What you can do

URGENT:
The Missouri General Assembly is currently in special session to break up the 5th Congressional District and to dilute voters' power to bring initiative petitions to a vote.
Here's what you can do to fight for democracy.

➡️ Join Unite and Rise 8.5 and commit to defend democracy

➡️ Learn simple strategies to  refute online misinformation

➡️ Urge Congress to stand up for democracy.

➡️ Tell your senator to
oppose the SAVE Act.

➡️  Let your Senators and  Representatives know how the budget bill signed on July 4 will affect you.  Keep the Medicaid in Missouri fact sheet handy.

➡️ VOTE in every election‼️  Watch this short video to learn why your vote matters.
