Happy Holidays
Let's Have Safe Celebrations

The holidays are here. The end of the year offers each of us the opportunity to reflect on our successes and stumbles. Collectively, the League succeeded far more than it stumbled, and we need to feel good about that. Will we do better for the League going forward?
Of course.
But we accomplished so much this year that we earned some quality time with those we love. So, Happy Holidays!

Take care and stay safe.

We Need You!

Be a member of the first cohort of the LWVKC Leadership Academy forming now. This is a ten week program of weekly meetings at the We are looking for the next generation of leaders to volunteer to be trained.
We will cover the mechanics, philosophy, and emotions necessary to lead in a volunteer organization. Our goal is to have a collaborative cohort that brings experience to the classes, giving us all the opportunity to learn together.

  • Google Sheets/Forms

  • Zoom/Website (Club Express)

  • Principles of Leadership

Oops!
The Perils of Using Templates

We made a mistake in the December 10, 2024 issue of the eVoter! We told you to get signed up for the national convention in Denver. That was an old announcement. The next national convention will be in Ohio in 2026. We will have information about that convention, of course, but not until Spring of 2026. Keep an eye out! And sorry for the confusion.

A Call to Action
It's Friends and Family Time

Friends. This time of year should be free of demands from the League, and thus it shall be. My call-to-action for this issue is quite simple…spend some quality time with friends and family.

Take care and stay safe.

We Want Your Blood
A Poke and a Sting to Save a Life
The CDC has updated its Covid-19 guidelines as they shift from pandemic response to endemic management. Though Kansas City still remains a high-risk area, we have decided to change our focus from Covid-19 vaccination to the tremendous need for blood donors. Two agencies collect blood in Kansas City, The American Red Cross and The Community Blood Centers. Please consider providing this gift of life as one of your community service projects. The websites are listed below.

The American Red Cross may be found here!

The Community Blood Centers may be found here!
